Project Romania looks to the future with Embassy Event
Project Romania received a much needed boost when the British Ambassador for Romania, Robin Barnett, kindly hosted a reception for World Horse Welfare at his residence in Bucharest on 12 June. Attended by 62 guests including the Secretary of State for Agriculture, senior Government officials, vets, farriers, media, charities, sporting organisations, celebrities and business entrepreneurs, the event set out to sign-up support to help Romania’s horses. Once again, World Horse Welfare was pleased with attendance figures at the latest set of Project Romania veterinary seminars seminars, with over 150 students and over 20 practitioners present throughout the week.
