Vets meet to discuss Equine Veterinary Association

The 4th February marks an important day for the horses of Romania, as equine vets gather to discuss the establishment of a Romanian Equine Veterinary Association marking the final year of Project Romania.

World Horse Welfare sees this organisation as key in ensuring Romania’s horses have a bright future. So far, over fifteen vets from across the country have registered to attend the day, which will be held at Cluj Veterinary faculty. Jo White, Director of Campaigns and Communications, comments: “The veterinary practitioner seminars we run in Romania twice a year always prove to be very popular and we are delighted that so many vets who have been involved in the seminars want to be a part of the continuation of our work.”

If you are an equine vet and are interested in becoming involved in a Romanian Equine Veterinary Association or would like to find out more, please contact Claudia Ciugudean at Ecvin Protect:
